Rick has taught hundreds of students each year since the late 80's. Rick's success can be attributed to a common sense approach to golf instruction with an emphasis on FUNdamentals.
"No two golf swings are alike, however, there are key positions that are consistent in most every good player."
Sargent's Golf Instruction focuses on these positions taking into account a students strengths and limitations.
"If you can't laugh at your mistakes, I'm probably not the teacher for you. The plan is to learn together, and have FUN throughout the process."

About Rick
An accomplished player, golf course operator, and instructor Rick Sargent brings over 30 years experience to the business of golf. He credits much of his success and passion for the game to his Hall of Fame Coach and mentor, Gene Miranda, US Air Force Academy, where Rick was two time All American.
Following graduation "Lieutenant/Captain Sargent" served in the Air Force (Intel Officer) while winning two All-Air Force Championships and a Worldwide All-Service Championship - plus the occasional "Lesson to the Brass."
1985 brought Rick to Central Florida where he soon landed a job as a Manager/Head Professional/Director of Instruction of a semi private golf facility. The "opportunity" lasted over 20 years with many teaching highlights to include the formation of a Golf School, an annual Junior Golf Camp, High School Golf Coach (10 years), and hundreds of lessons annually.
Rick acheived PGA membership in 1994, providing him avenues for many educational and playing opportunities. As one of them top players in the North Florida Section he has won numerous events and in 2009 was awarded NFPGA Senior Player of the Year.
Currently Rick is the Director of Instruction for Rick Sargents Golf Instruction located at Remington Golf Club and encompassing both Remington and Kissimmee Bay Country Club.
